城市建构筑物变形危害居民生命财产安全及社会稳定，定期对其进行监测至关重要。时序InSAR技术能以较高精度进行大范围城市建构筑物形变监测，已有较多相关研究及工程化应用。不同分辨率SRA影像在城市形变监测中具有不同的优势，而关于此的对比分析还不足；此外，关于不同分辨率SAR影像在城市形变监测时尺度效应的相关讨论还较少见。因此，本文基于相同区域和监测时段的低、中、高三种分辨率SAR影像，利用PSInSAR技术，对不同分辨率SAR影像城市形变监测结果及尺度效应进行分析与讨论。结果表明，随着SAR影像分辨率的降低，受到尺度效应的影响，SAR影像观测目标变模糊，InSAR干涉相位形变信息精细化表征能力变差、相干性下降，PSInSAR技术监测到的局部形变最值下降、SAR像元与建构筑物结构对应性变差，PSInSAR技术城市形变精细化监测整体能力变弱。Sentinel-1数据城市形变监测能力较中、高分辨率数据更弱，特别是在局部形变及大形变监测方面存在不足；但对于大尺度形变的识别及监测，其可获得与高分辨率数据较近似的结果。
Objective Urban deformation poses significant threats to residents' lives
property safety
and social stability
making regular monitoring critically important. Time-series InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) technology enables large-scale urban deformation monitoring with high precision
and numerous studies and engineering applications have been conducted. SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images with different resolutions exhibit distinct advantages over urban deformation monitoring
but comparative analyses on this topic remain insufficient. Additionally
discussions on the scale effects of SAR images with different resolutions over urban deformation monitoring are scarce.Method To this end
using low-
medium-
and high-resolution SAR images covering the same area and monitoring period and the PSInSAR (Persistent Scatterer InSAR) technology
we compare and analyze the deformation monitoring results and scale effects across different resolution SAR images.Result and Conclusion The findings indicate that as SAR image resolution decreases
the observed targets become increasingly blurred due to scale effects. This degradation leads to reduced capability in fine characterizing deformation information from InSAR interferometric phase
decline in coherence
decreased maximum deformation detected by PSInSAR
weakened correspondence between SAR pixels and building structures
overall diminished the capability of PSInSAR in fine-scale urban deformation monitoring. Sentinel-1 data demonstrates weaker deformation monitoring performance for urban buildings compared to medium- and high-resolution SAR images
particularly in detecting localized and large deformations. However
for large-scale deformation identification and monitoring
Sentinel-1 yields results comparable to higher-resolution ones.
