“海哨一号”卫星获取的南海西沙群岛金银岛合成孔径雷达(SAR)遥感影像

 

封面图像为2024年12月19日“海哨一号”卫星SAR载荷获取的南海西沙群岛金银岛条带模式双极化伪彩色合成影像。在1 m分辨率下,影像清晰地展示了海浪条纹特征,尤其能够清楚地观测到海浪随着岛礁水下礁盘浅化所致的海浪绕射现象。“海哨一号”卫星于2024年12月4日发射,是国际上首颗低倾角、超低轨SAR遥感卫星。卫星运行于43°倾角、约350 km轨道高度,可有效提高中低纬度地区观测效率,同时搭载全天时光学相机,可实现光—SAR一体化昼夜协同观测。

The cover image presents a pseudo-color Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image of Jinyin Island, located at the Xisha Islands in the South China Sea. This image was captured by HaiShao-01 satellite in Stripmap mode with dual polarization on December 19, 2024. With its high resolution of 1 m, the HaiShao-01 image enables a clear depiction of wave stripe characteristics, highlighting the wave diffraction effects resulting from the shoaling of the submerged coral reef platforms. HaiShao-01 is the inaugural low-inclination and ultra-low-orbit SAR satellite in the world. It was launched on December 4, 2024, operating at an orbital inclination of 43°and an altitude of approximately 350 km. The deployment of HaiShao-01 significantly enhances the observation efficiency in the middle and low latitude regions. Furthermore, the satellite is equipped with a full-time optical imager, facilitating the synergistic observation of optical and SAR sensors at day and night.
