للتعامل مع مشكلة تحديد أنواع الأضرار في المباني من خلال الرؤوس الثلاثية لليزر بعد الزلزال، ومن أجل تلبية متطلبات الطوارئ والدقة، وللتخلص من استخراج ميزات الأضرار التقليدية بشكل يدوي، يتم استغلال معلومات الأضرار في المناطق المنكوبة بشكل كامل، ومن ثَمَّ تحقيق التعرف الذاتي للمباني. تطبق هذه الورقة أساليب تعلم الأجهزة العميقة من الرؤوس الثلاثية للنُّقاط في تحديد الأضرار في المباني، وتُعد قاعدة بيانات الرؤوس الثلاثية التي تحتوي على أنواع الأضرار مثل الانهيار الكلي والانهيار الجزئي وعدم الانهيار. يتساءل شبكة PointNet++ عن تأثير كميات العينات وتوازنها على دقة التعرف، ويُقدم طريقة تحسين العينات للمباني المتضررة، مثّل تنويعاً لشكل النقاط في مختلف فئات العينات. باستخدام بيانات الرؤوس الثلاثية من رحلات الليزر الجوية بعد زلزال هايتي في عام 2010، تمت مقارنة دقة التصنيف قبل وبعد تحسين العينات من خلال شبكة PointNet++، وأظهرت النتائج تحسناً بنسبة 27٪ و 17٪ على التوالي في دقة تصنيف الانهيار الكلي والانهيار الجزئي بعد تحسين العينات، وزيادة بنسبة 15٪ في دقة التصنيف الكلية ومعامل كابا. توضح النتائج أن نموذج التعلم العميق للأضرار بالمباني ثلاثية الأبعاد يُظهر تحسيناً جيداً في التعرف على التصنيف عندما تكون كميات العينات متوازنة وكافية لجميع فئات العينات.
