Die Nutzung optischer und SAR-Fernerkundungsbilder zur Schätzung der Gebäudehöhe ist von großer Bedeutung für das Verständnis der Stadtstruktur und die Optimierung des städtischen Raumbestands. Bestehende Datensätze weisen jedoch mehrere Einschränkungen auf: Aufgrund der geringen Anzahl an Proben können die Anforderungen an die auf Deep Learning basierende Fernerkundungsinformationsgewinnung nur schwer erfüllt werden, die von den Proben abgedeckten Gebiete sind begrenzt und bieten nicht genügend geografische Vielfalt und räumliche Repräsentativität, insbesondere mangelt es an großflächigen Datensätzen für Gebäudehöhen in China. Darüber hinaus ist die Offenheit der Datensätze unzureichend, was deren Anwendung und Validierung in breiteren Forschungsbereichen einschränkt. Zur Lösung dieser Probleme wurde in dieser Arbeit ein Deep-Learning-orientierter Gebäudehöhendatensatz BHDSI (Building Height Estimation Dataset Based on Sentinel Imagery) erstellt, der die zentralen Stadtgebiete von 62 chinesischen Städten mit insgesamt 5606 Proben abdeckt, darunter städtische und ländliche Szenarien, und somit der größte Gebäudehöhendatensatz Chinas hinsichtlich der abgedeckten Fläche ist. Der Datensatz enthält Sentinel-1- und Sentinel-2-Fernerkundungsbilder sowie reale Gebäudehöhenwerte, die Probengröße beträgt 256×256, im Vergleich zu 64×64 großen Datensätzen bietet er eine wichtige Ergänzungsoption für die Forschung zur Gebäudehöhenabschätzung. Im Vergleich zu anderen Datensätzen zeichnet sich dieser Datensatz durch eine große Anzahl von Proben, große Abdeckung, gute Verfügbarkeit und eine vernünftige Verteilung der Gebäudehöhen aus, was die Trainingsanforderungen von Deep-Learning-Netzen besser erfüllt. Aufbauend darauf wurden der BHDSI-Datensatz und andere ähnliche Datensätze mit denselben Deep-Learning-Netzen bewertet und die Leistung mehrerer Netze bei der Gebäudehöhenregressionsaufgabe mit BHDSI verglichen, wobei die Vor- und Nachteile der einzelnen Netze eingehend analysiert wurden. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass der BHDSI-Datensatz bei der Gebäudehöhenregressionsaufgabe anderen Datensätzen überlegen ist. Weitere Analysen ergaben, dass in Bereichen mit niedrigerer Gebäudehöhe eine höhere Schätzgenauigkeit mit BHDSI erreicht wird. Zudem erzielt der Einsatz des U-Net-Dekoders beim Training des Gebäudehöhenabschätzungsnetzes eine höhere Genauigkeit. Zusammenfassend bietet der BHDSI-Datensatz wichtige Unterstützung für zukünftige Forschungen im Bereich der Gebäudehöhenabschätzung.
