Impacts of rural settlement evolution on regional carbon storage in the Yellow River Delta based on multisource data
- “Since the reform and opening up, with the continuous promotion of China's industrialization and urbanization process, rural areas have generally experienced the phenomenon of disorderly expansion and hollowing out of rural settlements characterized by 'population reduction and land increase'. The Shandong Normal University team explored the impact of orderly withdrawal of rural settlements on carbon storage, opening up new directions for ecological protection and food security research in the Yellow River Delta.”
