Monitoring and risk analysis of surface subsidence in the Jiaozuo Goaf along the middle route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project based on the DS-InSAR method
- “In response to the potential threat of coal mining subsidence along the Middle Route of the South to North Water Diversion Project to the main canal, the research team conducted in-depth research on the goaf in Jiaozuo using Sentinel-1A data and DS InSAR technology. The study revealed the surface deformation of the goaf in Jiaozuo from 2019 to 2020, and constructed a set of deformation risk assessment indicators to achieve the classification of deformation risk. The results show that there are multiple subsidence basins in the goaf of Jiaozuo, but the Jiaozuo section of the main canal of the South to North Water Diversion Project is generally less affected by mining subsidence. However, there are areas with high deformation risk in the northwest side of Zhangtun Mine, Baizhuang Mine, and Zhongma Village Mine, which require continuous monitoring to prevent potential subsidence disasters. This study not only provides scientific basis for disaster risk assessment of the South to North Water Diversion Project, but also provides reference for safety management of similar projects.”
