    • Application of satellite observations to verify methane emission inventories

    • The latest research uses methane satellite observations and atmospheric transport models to verify the global methane emission inventory, and finds that China and Indonesia have emissions lower than the prior inventory, while Russia, India, and Bangladesh have emissions higher than the prior inventory. This technology provides a new direction for greenhouse gas emission correction.
