“According to the latest report, China's remote sensing discipline has gone through initial learning, follow-up development, and growth, and has been approved as a first level interdisciplinary discipline in 2022. At present, there are 7 independently established doctoral programs and 5 approved construction units in the first level discipline of remote sensing science and technology, as well as 15 approved construction units and 2 independently established master's programs in the first level discipline, facing challenges such as the construction of interdisciplinary knowledge systems.”
