L'énergie solaire, en tant qu'énergie propre, contribue à la réalisation des objectifs de pic des émissions de carbone et de neutralité carbone en réduisant les émissions de carbone. Les centrales photovoltaïques utilisent le rayonnement solaire pour produire de l'électricité, constituant une forme importante d'énergie propre, transformant l'énergie solaire en électricité grâce à la technologie de conversion photovoltaïque, réalisant un processus de production d'électricité à faible émission de carbone et sans pollution. L'inclusion des centrales photovoltaïques dans la classification de l'utilisation des terres aide à évaluer de manière globale l'utilisation des ressources terrestres et l'impact sur l'environnement écologique. Cependant, les études existantes manquent d'analyses sur l'évolution de l'utilisation des terres à long terme pour les centrales photovoltaïques et ne prévoient pas la construction future de centrales photovoltaïques basée sur différents scénarios politiques. Cet article s'appuie sur les données Landsat 5 et GF-2 de 2000 à 2023 pour une interprétation visuelle des centrales photovoltaïques dans la ville d'Ordos, et analyse les changements de surface, la transformation des types et les variations spatiales des centrales photovoltaïques dans toute la ville. De plus, l'article trace une projection elliptique de Gauss et analyse les caractéristiques spatio-temporelles des centrales photovoltaïques tous les 5 ans entre 2000 et 2023 grâce à l'évolution du centre de gravité de la projection elliptique. Enfin, le modèle PLUS est utilisé pour analyser les facteurs moteurs et prévoir l'évolution future des types d'utilisation des terres à Ordos sous différents scénarios politiques. Les résultats montrent que la structure spatiale régionale des changements d'utilisation des terres de 2000 à 2011 est globalement similaire à celle de 2011 à 2023, mais que les changements régionaux montrent de nouvelles caractéristiques. Depuis 2011, certains types d'utilisation des terres commencent à se transformer en centrales photovoltaïques. De plus, l'analyse du modèle PLUS montre que la croissance démographique, la température de surface, le flux de chaleur du sol, les politiques et les précipitations sont les principaux facteurs entraînant les changements d'utilisation des terres à Ordos, avec des prévisions pour 2030 basées sur trois scénarios politiques. Dans ces scénarios, les surfaces de constructions, de forêts, de plans d'eau, de terres cultivées, de prairies et de centrales photovoltaïques augmentent toutes. Les prévisions pour 2030 indiquent une diminution des surfaces de désert et de sable de 173,57 km² et 1,91 km² respectivement par rapport à 2023 ; les autres types d'utilisation des terres augmentent, notamment une augmentation d'environ 2,46 km² des centrales photovoltaïques. Les prévisions d'utilisation des terres à Ordos sous différents scénarios fournissent une base scientifique pour la planification foncière, la gestion des ressources et la protection de l'environnement dans la ville.
