複数プラットフォームのレーザースキャナー(LiDAR)点群データの共有は、森林生態学およびLiDARアルゴリズムの研究にとって重要な意義があります。これに伴い、中国林業科学研究院資源情報研究所は、亜熱帯林地域の有人機、無人機、および地上多プラットフォームによるレーザースキャナー森林サンプル点群および地上調査基準データセットを公開しました。このデータセットは、中国の広西チワン族自治区国有高峰林場で取得され、ユーカリ、スギ、マツの3樹種、計25区画のサンプル地が含まれます。地上調査データには、サンプル地の位置、樹木の位置、胸高直径、樹高、枝下高さおよび樹冠幅が含まれます。本データセットは、異なるプラットフォームのLiDARによる森林の三次元構造情報の特徴解析、点群の位置合わせや単木分割などの点群処理アルゴリズムの性能評価、森林構造パラメータ抽出の適用性分析、地域規模、サンプル地規模および単木規模の森林研究への重要な参考資料として利用できます。さらに、本研究では、地上レーザースキャナー点群に基づく地上調査方法を開発しました。この方法は、樹幹点群に基づいて樹木の位置を特定し、樹木位置図に基づいて各樹木の計測を行い、実地での単木位置特定およびマーキング手順を省略し、作業効率を向上させ、林業地上調査に新たな視点を提供します。
