Китай и Индия являются двумя крупнейшими развивающимися странами мира по численности населения, и проблема бремени заболеваний, вызванных загрязнением PM2.5, является особенно острой. Именно поэтому на основе данных высокого разрешения (0,01°×0,01°), полученных от спутника и связанных с долгосрочными временными рядами, мы проанализировали изменения пространственно-временного паттерна PM2.5 и экспозицию населения в Китае и Индии за 19 лет (2000-2018 гг.); на основе комплексной модели экспозиции-реакции было проведено всеохватывающее оценивание числа преждевременных смертей в двух странах из-за долгосрочной экспозиции PM2.5 6 видам заболеваний (острое нижнее респираторное заболевание, хроническая обструктивная болезнь легких, сахарный диабет 2 типа, ишемическое заболевание сердца, рак легких и инсульт). Результаты показывают, что высокие значения концентрации PM2.5 в Китае сосредоточены в Синьцзян-Уйгурском автономном районе, Чэньчжуан-Бассейне, Северо-китайской равнине, бассейне реки Янцзы и других регионах, и общая концентрация, взвешенная по численности населения, общемирово уменьшается (50 мкг/м-3 в 2000 г., 40,8 мкг/м-3 в 2018 г.); в то время как концентрация PM2.5 в Индии в высоких значениях сосредоточена в северных регионах, и общая концентрация, взвешенная по численности населения, общемирово увеличивается (51,5 мкг/м-3 в 2000 г., 76,4 мкг/м-3 в 2018 г.). Для Китая количество преждевременных смертей из-за экспозиции PM2.5 увеличилось с 90,8 тыс. человек в 2000 году до 137,8 тыс. человек в 2018 году, что составляет увеличение на 47 тыс. человек; инсульт является основным терминальным заболеванием, приводящим к преждевременной смерти, и составляет 45,9% от общего числа смертей (56,3 тыс. человек) . Для Индии количество преждевременных смертей из-за экспозиции PM2.5 увеличилось с 34,3 тыс. человек в 2000 году до 75 тыс. человек в 2018 году, что составляет увеличение на 40,7 тыс. человек; ишемическое заболевание сердца и инсульт являются основными терминальными заболеваниями, составляя 39,9% (20,2 тыс. человек) и 25,5% (12,9 тыс. человек) соответственно.
