La tecnología de teledetección satelital es uno de los métodos principales para detectar el contenido de vapor de agua atmosférico, con una ventaja significativa de alta resolución espacial. Sin embargo, esta tecnología tiene una precisión de detección relativamente baja, lo que dificulta satisfacer las necesidades de estudio sobre los cambios en el vapor de agua atmosférico. Estudios previos han utilizado datos de GNSS PWV de alta precisión “de tipo estación” para corregir adecuadamente los datos de vapor de agua de teledetección “de tipo área”, obteniendo productos precisos de vapor de agua por teledetección satelital. Pero la mayoría de los estudios actuales se basan en modelos de corrección construidos a partir de datos de emparejamiento espacial “puntual” entre estaciones GNSS y píxeles de teledetección, ignorando el importante efecto de la fuerte correlación local del vapor de agua atmosférico, lo que limita su capacidad de corrección. Por ello, este artículo toma como punto de partida la correlación espacial vecinal del vapor de agua y, aprovechando las ventajas del procesamiento no lineal de las técnicas de aprendizaje automático, construye un modelo de corrección por red neuronal para productos MODIS que considera las características del vecindario espacial. El modelo utiliza el algoritmo de red neuronal BP como marco, seleccionando como parámetros de entrada factores no lineales como la información de nubes, el tipo de cobertura terrestre y la orientación espacial del sensor dentro del rango de escala del producto MODIS. Los resultados experimentales basados en datos GNSS y MODIS PWV del oeste de Estados Unidos muestran que el error cuadrático medio raíz (RMSE) de los productos MODIS PWV corregidos por el modelo propuesto es de 2,13 mm, lo que representa una reducción del 46,21% en comparación con el modelo de corrección lineal ampliamente utilizado; y una reducción del 12,35% comparado con los resultados de corrección del modelo de emparejamiento “puntual” actual. Los resultados comparativos en dimensiones temporales y espaciales muestran que el RMSE de los productos corregidos por el modelo propuesto se estabiliza entre 2,0 y 3,0 mm, demostrando la superioridad del modelo de corrección que considera las características del vecindario espacial en la corrección de productos de vapor de agua de teledetección, y reflejando información espacial y temporal detallada sobre la distribución del vapor de agua.
