Influence of Simulated Acid Rain on Characteristics of Reflectance Spectra of Rice Leaves[J]. Journal of Remote Sensing, 1996, (4). DOI: 10.11834/jrs.1996030.
The influences of simulated acid rain on the characteristics of reflectance spectra of rice leaves are described in this paper. The results show that acid rain could cause: increase of the reflectances in the visible and middle infrared waveband
decrease of the reflectances in the near infrared waveband
blue-shift of the first and second derivative spectra. There are relationships among the above changes and the pH-values of acid rain the vedeties and growth stages of rice. These results have proved it is possible to monitor the pollution of acid rain on crops using remote sensing.
