
“句芒号”卫星主被动协同反演普洱市森林生物量
封面图像为中国陆地生态系统碳监测卫星“句芒号”植被激光雷达载荷与多角度多光谱成像仪数据协同反演的云南省普洱市市区及其周边山区的森林生物量。普洱市地处低纬高原南亚热带季风气候区,区域内群峦起伏,是中国生物多样性最丰富的地区之一。“句芒号”发射于2022年8月4日,是我国首颗面向陆地生态系统碳监测的卫星,可同步获取25 m光斑直径的多波束激光雷达与2—12 m分辨率的多角度多光谱影像。其激光载荷相较于已有卫星可获得更大范围、更高垂直分辨率及更高质量的地表垂直剖面观测,能提高主被动协同生物量估测的精度,助力大区域碳储量精准监测。
Forest biomass in Pu'er retrieved by active-passive synergy from China's Goumang Satellite
This cover image shoros forest biomass derived from the synergistic observations acquired by the laser payload and the multi-angle multispectral sensor onboard China’s Terrestrial Ecosystem Carbon Inventory Satellite (TECIS), named “Goumang.”The dataset covers the urban area of Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, and its adjacent mountainous regions. Situated in a low-latitude plateau region characterized by a south subtropical monsoon climate and undulating terrain, Pu’er represents one of China’s most biodiverse areas. Launched on August 4, 2022, TECIS is China’s first satellite specifically designed for monitoring terrestrial ecosystem carbon dynamics. It simultaneously captures full-waveform LiDAR data from five beams with a 25 m footprint, alongside multi-angle multispectral imagery at spatial resolutions ranging from 2 to 12 meters. In comparison to existing spaceborne LiDAR systems, TECIS provides enhanced observational capabilities, including wider coverage, higher vertical resolution, and improved accuracy in land surface vertical profiling. These advances contribute to more precise active–passive synergistic estimation of biomass and support improved large-area carbon storage monitoring.
