    • On-orbit geometric calibration and accuracy verification of a multi-CCD field-stitched wide-field camera

    • The 4D Gaojing-3 01 wide camera adopts 32 TDI CCD field of view stitching technology, achieving effective integration of ultra wide width and sub meter resolution, and has significant advantages in applications such as land and resources census and emergency disaster response. Experts have designed an in orbit geometric calibration method that combines feature matching with template matching. The internal calibration parameters are jointly calculated using ground control points and inter slice connection points. The experiment shows that the absolute positioning accuracy of the calibrated image is better than 3 pixels, and the stitching accuracy between adjacent CCD images is controlled at around 0.3 pixels. This provides an effective solution for improving the geometric quality of multi CCD field of view stitched wide images.
