To improve the accuracy and vertical resolution of conventional atmosphericdata profile at lower atmosphere

which is urgently required for satellite meteorology

and fulfil the requirement of upper atmospheric research

we adopt the idea of CTtechnique and develope a so-called" Satellite Tomographic Scanning Retrieval Method".Using U. S. Standard Atmosphere

we have optimized the spectral channels inideal condition. We have also conducted a numerical simulation based on a set of 7real temperature profiles from NASA. The results of our simulations showed that theaverage improvement of the accuracy of retrievd temperatures over those using theconventional methods was about 40%

which was significant.
